Trivia
- Panik will have a song on the next version of Guitar Hero.[1]
- One of the samples at the beginning of Niemand hört Dich is a harp.[2]
- Originally made recordings in a studio they built in David’s garage off earnings from playing live gigs.[3]
- Came originally from Neumünster in Schleswig - Holstein. Now they live in and work out of Hamburg.[4]
- Are all fans of manga, which was a primary reason they originally used manga-style avatars of themselves on some early Nevada Tan publicity materials (drawings by Marie Sann). According to Jan, they “wanted to show at the beginning not our true faces to generate a certain tension.” [4]
- The previous name of the band, Nevada Tan, comes from the moniker given by Japanese media to an 11-year old murderer in Nagasaki, Japan in 2004; “Nevada” was the word printed on her sweatshirt the day of the massacre, and “tan” is a bastardization of the Japanese diminutive honorific –chan, usually used for young girls.[4]
- Before their first single "Revolution" was officially released on March 30, 2007, the Nevada-Tan official MySpace already had more than 35,000 hits.[4]
- The original Panik first performed at a festival at Timo’s school.[5]
